The Aquacraft 45 is a Bruce Roberts designed sailing cruiser. She was built and finished in Taiwan by Custom Yachts International. She was purchased by her present owners in 1998. The owners have done many upgrades to ready her for cruising. The owners plans have changed. Accommodations
Desherite is a walk-through center cockpit cruising sailboat. The companion way to the main cabin is entered from the center cockpit. A full galley is located to port of the companionway ladder and the navigation station/chart table is to starboard. Forward of the galley and chart table is a U-shaped settee to port and a straight settee to starboard.
The walk-through to the aft cabin is aft of the galley. The well lighted aft cabin has a centerline (larger than?) Queen size berth, hanging locker, and a private head. Refrigerator and freezer lockers are located in the walk-through. The walk-through also provides access to the engine compartment.
Forward of the main cabin is a walk-through to a large forward V-berth with insert. The walk-through has a hanging locker to starboard and second head to port.
The boat is cooled and heated by an Arctic Air 19,000 BTU reverse cycle air conditioning system. The cabin interior is finished in rich teak wood. Basket weave inserts in the cabinet doors provide air ventilation to their interiors.
