SOLD

This must be the only one of its kind CT54!

The current owners purchased the vessel new in 1983 and spent years readying her for the cruising life. In 2000 they left on a 12 year cruise (mainly in the Caribbean) and returned in early 2012. The owners are now ready to move on to their next adventure leaving "Pamela Jean" to take you on yours! Given her recent sail across the Gulf of Mexico and the continued maintenance since, this vessel is about as ready as any I have seen to head out again for blue seas and coral sands!

Additional Notes
This particular CT 54 is probably unique in that she is still owned by her first owners who purchased her from the US distributor in 1983. For many years the vessel remained in this area but in 2000 the owners set off cruising and only returned this year (2012). Over the years Pamela Jean has received constant love and maintenance as will be evident to those who see her. And work is continuing even though she is now for sale. Recent work undertaken this year (2012) and not noted elsewhere includes:

  • New bottom paint (3 coats high tin content)
  • All brightwork varnished with 4 coats Epifanes yacht varnish with UV protection
One concern for all Taiwanese boats is the iron fuel tanks which always need replacing after a number of years. The fuel tanks aboard this boat were replaced before the owners set out cruising and the vessel is now fitted with aluminum fuel tanks (and a fuel manifold system) fabricated locally. Water tanks are original stainless steel.
