DESIGN:

The "Union Jack 31' design was also built as the "Eagle 32' by Asian Pacific.
CONSTRUCTION:
HULL:
10 ga. Steel, welded and primed with Dimetcoat on the exterior; with epoxy on the interior and painted with AwlGrip "Oyster White"paint.
DECK:
3/4" Marine plywood set on steel deck flange.
Deck is coated with West System epoxy and one coat of Dynel cloth with epoxy.
All edges are protected with Dynel woven fabric and epoxy.
CABIN:
1/2" AquaTec marine plywood for sides and top.
Entire cabin is covered with Dynel cloth and epoxy.
Faired with West System epoxy,
primed and painted with AwlGrip "Oyster White" paint on the exterior.
CABIN BEAMS:
Laminated Cypress.
STRUCTURAL MEMBERS:
Cypress and treated Pine.
BULKHEADS:
3/4" Marine Fur.
CABIN SOLE:
Treated 3/4" plywood over treated frames.
PORTS & WINDOWS:
Aluminum framed with tempered, tented glass.
DOORS & HATCHES:
Cypress and Marine plywood coated with epoxy and painted with Awlgrip.
INTERIOR:
Cabin sides paneled with 1/4" Marine plywood.
Overhead is "V" groved, 1/4" Marine plywood with exposed beams.
FUEL TANKS:
Two, custom fitted and built of aluminum, approximately 75 gals. each.
All valves are installed.
WATER TANKS:
Two plastic tanks, 40 gals. each, mounted in place.
MECHANICAL:
ENGINE:
Perkins 4-154, fresh water cooled thru heat exchanger, 62hp with a 2.9 to 1 Velvet Drive transmission.
Engine sits on 1/2" steel beds and is coupled to a 1 1/2" Aquamet shaft thru an intermediate bearing and a stuffing box and stearn bearing.
Prop is calculated to be a 20" X 15" LH (4) Blade or a 20" X 16" LH (3) Blade or a 19" X 17" LH (3) Blade.
EXHAUST SYSTEM:
Uses vented loop and Vernlift muffler (in place but not permanently positioned and fastened with hose clamps.
STEERING SYSTEM:
Hynautic hydraulic and all components in place (fittings and hoses are finger tight).
FUEL SYSTEM:
Two Racor filters plumbed to engine thru valves to receive and return to both tanks.
Most material and supplies on hand to finish boat.
